RUSSELL SMITH FARMS TOGETHER WITH YELLOW BRICK CAPITAL PLANT 2500 TREES IN CAMBRIDGE

A tree planting event, hosted by Russell Smith Farms and Yellow Brick Capital saw over 400 people in attendance and 2500 tress planted at DernFord Reservoir, CB22 5ED. The event, which was held on the 26th February was attended by local Cambridge residents and families as well as local MP Anthony Browne.

Robert Smith of Russell Smith Farms commented: “We were absolutely delighted with the success of the tree planting event, which was held in collaboration with Yellow Brick Capital and was fulfilling a planning condition for the reservoir from Cambridgeshire County Council. The day was filled with members of the local community who were able to plant a tree and give back to our planet. Volunteers were able to attach a tag to their tree, with their names, allowing them to watch their own tree grow over the years. We would like to thank everyone who came, and we now look forward to watching the new trees flourish.”

Johnathan Kol-Bar, Executive Chairman of Yellow Brick Capital commented: “We are pleased to announce that 2500 new trees were planted at the event held at DernFord Reservoir on the 26th February. As a company, we pride ourselves on our sustainable approach to business, placing environmentalism at the centre of our ethos. The tree planting event was incredibly important to us, and we are delighted it was such a success.
